Own a Piece of Pamplona History
Authentic cobblestones from the historic streets of Pamplona's Old Town
For the first time, you can own an authentic Pamplona street stone—a piece of the very ground that has felt the thunder of hooves and the footsteps of runners during centuries of San Fermín festivals. These rare adoquines (cobblestones) come from the historic streets of Pamplona's Old Town (Casco Viejo). Each stone is a one-of-a-kind piece of bull run history that connects you directly to this legendary tradition.
The History of These Rare Pamplona Cobblestones
During the pedestrianization of Pamplona's Old Town (Casco Viejo) that began in 1996, thousands of 18th-century cobblestones were removed from the historic streets of the city center. These adoquines had witnessed countless bull runs, absorbing the energy of the San Fermín festival for over two centuries.
These authentic Pamplona cobblestones were originally made available through the Museo del Encierro, the Running of the Bulls museum that was once located at Calle Mercaderes, 17 in the heart of Pamplona, adjacent to Calle Estafeta. The museum, which no longer exists, sold these historic stones as collector's items and souvenirs. Encierro acquired a collection of these rare stones, and we are now making them available to bull running enthusiasts and collectors worldwide.
Each stone carries with it the spirit of the festival and the echoes of the thousands of runners and bulls that have passed over it. This is not just a stoneâ€"it is a tangible connection to the running of the bulls tradition and a piece of Pamplona's cultural heritage that you can hold in your hands.
