San Fermín 2039, Day by Day
San Fermín runs July 6 to 14 every year. The chupinazo rocket opens the fiesta at noon on the 6th, the first encierro runs on the morning of the 7th, and the eighth and last runs on the 14th. Here is how 2039 falls on the week.

Reading the calendarHow 2039 Falls on the Week
Our early read, based on the pattern we see every year.
The chupinazo falls on Wednesday July 6 and the first run on Thursday July 7, so the fiesta opens midweek. The first weekend of the fiesta starts on Saturday July 9.
The last run, July 14, is a Thursday, so the final morning falls on a weekday. The calmer runs are likely the weekdays in the middle: Friday July 8 and Monday July 11 to Wednesday July 13.
